Ocean View Getaway

Loved that it was walking distance into Port Campbell and that we could do an overnight stay along the Great Ocean rd where everyone else expects a 2 night min stay, Cool vintage vibe - loved it

There were no stairs from the deck to the back yard - so travelling with our pet dog was a little inconvenient to walk around to the gate at 5am for a wee break. Also a matress topper would have made for a better night sleep.

Views & location, big backyard for the puppies.

Access to the backyard was not available from the back of the house.

We loved that our dogs could be with us, that this is cozy a/c and clean accomodation with a comfy bed and we could stream our own YT on the smart TV. We loved the closeness to main street and awesome beachfront views and walks with the dogs. We loved the house. Everything you need for a short stay is provided.

Obviously the bathroom shower needed attention, but we were honestly advised by the hosts before arriving so it was informed that it needed attention. Our dogs are small breeds and the yard is not Chi proof which is most lovely anytime we stay somewhere as it gives us rest of dogs needing to be on a lead by allowing them offleash in an enclosed yard. A Chi proof yard provides piece of mind that our dogs cannot escape out of the yard, so further dog proofing the yard to accomodate small breeds would be a huge bonus to this already lovely property!

We liked the location, cleanliness and facilities offered at the property. It was good to have a secured yard for dog to run around.

One shower head didn't work. Only one split heater for the whole property but did a good job.

We enjoyed the location of the property -it was had lovely views and good walking out to the lookout and close to town with cafes etc. Perfect spot after driving the day doing the Great Ocean Road. All in all it was good value for money.

The bath did leak water onto the bathroom floor (which we were advised) but this definitely needs to be fixed as it leaks right in front of the toilet, which really could be dangerous if you didn't know. We also had trouble with the key (this was in the daylight) would not of liked to arrive in the dark - think it would be hard to find. But on the whole the stay was great.

The location.

Very rundown & unclean. Overpriced for an old demountable. There is mould on the bathroom roof and dead bugs all over the roller blinds in the kitchen & main entry area. No doors on the wardrobes in the main bedroom. We booked for 2 nights & only stayed for 1 as we couldn't wait to vacate.

The location is very nice.

Cosy little house. Perfect for a family. Well presented. Beautiful views from the front veranda.
