Location was good for us ,and although small it had everything we needed

The place was clean.

Worn and shoddy bedding, towels. Cooking utensils , old, scratched and inadequate. Big 'no,no' stained mattress with no protective cover Could do with some hooks on doors. Did give this feedback face to face to owner who on inspection agreed with me and planned to rectify. Garden needed attention.

The car park was close to the accommodation.

Mattress was shot, no support and springs popping as you turned in the night. There was no mattress protector on the bed just sheet straight on to mattress. The cutlery and crockery had to be washed before we used them as there was evidence of the previous guest. The front door did not shut with any confidence making sleeping difficult. The pillows on the master bed were badly stained as was the mattress. The bathroom was the best room in the accommodation.

The location was good and easy to get to. Local facilities. Quiet area. Parking for free. Clean tidy. Easy to check in and out and not having all the bureaucracies from normal hotels. In general brilliant stay and would stay again for sure

Nathan the host was absolutely lovely and very helpful, we booked last minute for a few days. We had a late check in and place was lovely and warm when we arrived after a 4 hour drive. Very quiet area and parking is available and easy access to motor way. All kitchen supplies there ready to use such as plates, cups, fridge, washing machine iron and board. additional bedding and also a travel cot which we needed for our stay and even that had bedding. Dvds available and all films and apps on tv can be used. Double bed is very comfortable. Will be back again. Local shop is tesco and local takeaway is nice. Also any issues there is always someone close ti help is needed.

Only thing id suggest to improve the property is the garden as it was lovey to sit out and have a coffee and take in the view but a general tidy up of the stones and loose wood by double doors as you step out, this could be a safety issue if children are staying. Id suggest also a drying rack as no where to put clothes once washed and no washing line outside or tumble dryer.

Very good and quiet location, all amenities, clean, plenty parking.
