The Writer´s Nest

Location was right in town.

The wind caused a door to shake and be loud all night.

Good location for photography. Living areas very pleasant.

Second bedroom really only suitable for a child- one single bed just fit, no wardrobe or hanging space. All up, it felt a little 'stingy' - there was just a single duvet and one pillow on the double bed (albeit for one person sleeping there); no shampoo etc in the bathroom; some leftovers in the kitchen from previous guests but no staples eg cooking oil; almost empty dishwashing detergent; one small towel per person, one hand towel between two; electric kettle not working properly etc.

Little bit hard to find, because don't have any signs there, and the instructions for check in are clear. The bathroom is hard to use the key to open when has been locked.

The guesthouse was spacious and had everything we needed , especially in the kitchen. They even provided some coffee and coffee filters. It was a comfortable space for the night. The veiws were wonderful.

The furniture was a little dated, but certainly adequate. The bathroom shower needs a little attention, the sliding doors are a bit unstable. Also found a large amount of hair in the drain.

In the heart of town, quiet.

The name, “Writers Nest” doesn’t fit the actual unit itself. Ironically, the lighting in the living area was so dim it would have been impossible to see what you’re writing. Reading was equally difficult. This would be an easy fix. Not much of a view.

Spacious and light. The landscape is all around you. Lovely small town. Close to waterfalls, incredible landscape views and the sea. Cafe down below and a supermarket up the street.
