Baan Mai Khao

The location was close to the beach. The pools were really nice. The apartment was spacious and comfortable for our family. We had everything we needed in the condo.

The pools have a 'no noise' policy which is nice if you want silence, but it was a bit difficult for our kids to be completely silent all of time while playing in the pools!

The check in was supposed to begin at 2pm. We arrived at 2:30 after a long and tiresome journey and the room was not ready yet. In fact it was still not ready after more yhan 2 hours of waiting. When I asked the receptionist, he completely ignored my complaint. Never again! What is more none of the table lamps in the apartment was working and the rooms look much worse than in photos. The definitely need redecorating.

Modern. Nice block. Nice swimming pool. Close to beach.

The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever encountered. The equipment in the property was lacking and some things very worn. Only 1 wine glass. Only 2 plastic kids mugs and 3 tiny coffee cups. No ice tray, complex was remote. No shop, no bar, no cafe, no ice machine. Door code didn’t work as it had no batteries. Safe didn’t work. TV in bedroom didn’t work. No cleaning products. The check in was a nightmare, we were taken to the wrong apartment at first and had started putting g groceries away and then told it wasn’t our apartment. They then had to get the only key from security and no spare. We were sent door code but as there were no batteries in it, it wouldn’t work. I would not recommend this place, but with a few tweaks it could be lovely.

The facilities are very nice, very clean and well managed! Lots of different pools.The appartment itself was perfect also, we had no issue checking in at all. The beach is amazing, huge and wild with very little people. The next door backpacking style place has a very chill and nice vibe also, perfect for dinner and/or drinks. For shopping, including for groceries, there is a shuttle to Turtle village where you can find everything ranging from restaurants to shops, pharmacy and supermarket

There is little to really nothing in the apartment, not even the basics to clean it yourself (but there is cutlery, plates etc). The area is quite distant from most activities in Phuket, we knew this and we had a great time but it's important to note. There were some stains on some sheets and the towels were quite old.
