the location was excellent

The apartment was not particularly clean upon our arrival. Additionally, the shower tray was broken and potentially hazardous — there is a large crack that you have to avoid to prevent injuring your feet. We were also very disappointed to learn that our accidentally left-behind belongings, which were clearly not rubbish, had been thrown out—despite our attempt to arrange a prompt collection. The responses from customer service have been extremely discourteous, which has only added to our overall dissatisfaction of the apartment, which was shame as our experience in San Sabastian was amazing.

Location was very central and everything within easy access. It's very noisy at night due to the proximity of bars but you are warned of that when you book.

Very difficult to open the door to the apartment. No instructions were provided so when we arrived and couldn't gain entry we had the call the hosts. Pillows on the beds were very poor and no extra ones were available. No small welcome pack was provided - tea, coffee, some milk and a bottle of water would have been very welcome. No welcome guide with local facilities was provided. No tea towel for drying dishes. Only 1 dishwasher tablet provided. Bedroom unit doors almost impossible to close correctly.

Construction works on the next building 8 to 5 every day No shampoo gel in the bathroom or even a plastic bottle

Great location to everything and in a lovely area. plenty of space in the apartment for multiple people.

The worst communication for a booking I have ever had and had my first booking cancelled as no one reply to help with the difficulty paying as this wasnt as straight forward as expected. The apartment was advertised that someone would meet us to give us keys but told last minute we had to go to a vending machine to pick these up that was 45min walk away from the apartment, not great when you've just landed and been on a bus for over and hour and having to carry all your luggage. I've booked numerous accommodation over decades and never known anything like this and really not how you want to start your holiday. There were some superficial damages in the flat and starting to look a bit tired which were reported to the hosts.

Location is amazing. very close to the old town where all the action takes place. The apartment was very clean with a fully equipped kitchen.

Nights until 1am can be a bit noisy but I guess that is a price to pay if you want to be on the center
