157 Brookes Hill Suites near the beach

It's a beachfront property, sorrounded by restaurants, entertainment (sports bars/casino ) and shopping mall all accessible by foot. They place is secure, quite and has open view of the ocean which I loved very much.

My room had side view of the ocean, I wanted open view

Draconian pre-occupation documentation by "The Host" hardly makes for a sense of welcome. Then the unit, whilst clean, is tired and grubby and needs serious refurbishment. It seems the unit is privately owned, the rest of Brookes Hill seems to have been modernised.

Braai area not at the balcony. Had to walk to the pool side to access the braai stand.

Spacious room

The worst thing is the admin after you have done your booking!!!!! You need to pay an R800 breaking deposit which is not a problem but the admin!!! I completed the forms.....and submitted them....and still got constantly reminded to do so The parking was terrible, far away from the room The room is spacious but the shower/bathroom is too small The kitchenette is so small that it has hardly any worktop space.

Had to wait from Jhb arrival at 0800 in PE until 1400, whilst the room were cleaned by 1200 already (cheapest flight in morning) No explanation how TV Set up work. Couldn't watch news on TV only Netflix Only two sachets of coffee for weekend. I thought if I drink to, it will be Replaced by staff next morning during cleaning. No cleaning on the Saturday No sea view
