I normally don’t write reviews since it’s exhausting and made more tiring when hosts ask for one. In this case I have been wanting to write this review because this host and the place deserves one. In short, I had a great stay. João is a super host! He responds literally within seconds at any time of the day ! Probably the most responsive and proactive host I have come across. The apartment is in a super location in Copacabana. Just two blocks from the beach at the end of Copacabana close to the fort. And it’s also an easy walk from there to the beach in Ipanema in around 15 mins. There is a padaria(bakery and juice bar) right on the corner and there is also a Zonal Sul supermarket next to it. Actually that supermarket chain is well known and they have a super bakery that makes fresh bread and all sorts of baked stuff every day and the added bonus is that they also make a great cup of coffee. I switched from the padaria’s coffee to the supermarkets since the coffee was freshly ground and made and only cost about 1.50 more than the padaria on the corner. The baked stuff at Zona Sul is far better in quality and looks healthier compared to the stuff in the corner padaria!juice shop. Although the juice shop is also must stop place if you want to try out all the great juices Brazil offers. The room itself is quite ample in size with a nice big comfortable king sized bed. There is a little Sink and counter a few feet away and the bath and shower were all clean and good. I loved that the toilets are like those in Asia and Middle East with a hand bidet for washing. Brazilians are very clean and particular about personal hygiene. In all respects, I was very pleased with the room. The size was perfect for me. I brought fruits from the supermarket zonal Sul I mentioned above and the place has all the necessary cutlery and crockery- although I did no cooking at all. Except for warming the rabanadas (French toast) I bought at Zona Sul.

Couple of the towels had a musty smell and looked a bit worn But the host had provided plenty of towels.

Quarto completo! A cama é boa e da pra descansar bem e grande também 😍 tem secador e ferro o que ótimo pois secador ocupa muito espaço na mala… não vi defeito em nada, tudo ótimo!

Na verdade é um erro do booking em relação a localização, pois optamos pelo AP por conta da localização que no booking consta ser na rua principal do arpoador logo de esquina. Mas de qlq forma a localização otima pois adoro Copacabana e tbm em 10 minutos você já está no arpoador…

Localização muito boa, fácil chegar e andar à pé em praias lindas. Não se escuta barulhos da rua ao dormir. O espaço é bonito e limpo, muitos recursos na cozinha, facilidade de entrar e sair sem chaves tem código na porta. Recomendo.

um único detalhe : talvez se colocar anti- mofos nos armários da cozinha, reduz um cheirinho que aparece aos mais sensíveis. Coisa normal em locais úmidos.

Joao estuvo pendiente, nos recomendo un excelente sitio para desayunar y almorzar, la ubicacion es lo mejor, cerca de la playa, del supermercado, es seguro, cerca de la estación del metro

Muy buena ubicación. Todo tipo de negocios alrededor. Podrían mejorar la limpieza. Muy amable el anfitrión. Hay personal de seguridad en la entrada las 24 hs
