Anexo Ipanema

- Bed and pillows comfortable - Has laundry machine and detergent (but the drying function doesn't work well -- I ended up hang-drying) - Pretty quiet - Water filter! - Responsive host - AC is powerful

- Only hotel/apartment/Airbnb I've ever stayed where no hand soap is provided in the bathroom. Very unhygienic. When I asked the host, they said "I don't provide basic hygiene items". On Booking, this listing lists "Free toiletries" as a provided facility. - Ant problem. I had (sealed) food on the dining room table and it attracted a fair number of ants. - No Nespresso pods provided for the Nespresso machine - Had to text host to ask for WiFi password (only QR code provided in-unit, which laptops can't scan) - ONE paper towel left on the roll of paper towels in the kitchen. Ended up using a bath towel in the kitchen.

Great location. 24-hour reception desk.

Everything was good. We arrived before the check in time and the host organized a place for us to leave our luggage, quite close to the apartment.

It was an apartment so no breakfast but a grocery store right next store that opened at 7:00 am.

Anexo Ipanema is a beautiful property, fully equipped, a perfect place to stay without any inconvenience, all facilities work well, and the props are placed in each and every element, creating a cute atmosphere and making the property stand out.

Excellent apartment with everything we needed. Just beside a handy supermarket. A real feel of a Brazilian colonial chic residence. Location is superb, Ipanema is the area to stay. We were a family of four with 2 kids (16 and 11) and we had enough space and were very comfortable.
