I stayed here with my partner for 4x nights and 5x days. What stood out the most was how friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable Charlie is. The moment we arrived we were greeted with a delicious guanabana juice, showed us a snake he had found the night before, and took us too feed the Pirarucu fish and caiman right there in the property. He has a wealth of knowledge about the town, the region, it's history and nature. It was a pleasure talking to him over a 100% cacao drink made at the property, and meeting his beautiful family and friends. The property is located in a beautiful setting; you will hear so many birds in the early morning and the sound of frogs in the evening. Fully recommended.

The location is great! All 3 cabins are on a small pond, which is surrounded by jungle. Amazing insect and bird sounds all night. I slept like a baby every night. Spent a lot of time in the hammock on the porch. Great place to finish an active day of hiking to one of Puerto Nariño’s many attractions. The owner Charlie and his wife are the salt of the earth. Incredibly kind, warm, and accommodating. It’s also only a lovely 10 minute walk into town along the river. Cabañas Dechi es lo máximo!

I have no complaints. This place was exactly what I was looking for.

From the moment that we arrived to Puerto Narino we were welcomed and shown where our stay was which was a lovely touch! After this we met the hosts who were extremely welcoming; it's got a lovely family dynamic and we were welcomed with a couple of bracelets and got to hold their parakeet which was the cutest! Our whole stay was a blast and the hosts managed to setup private tours for us for the entire duration of the stay including going with us at night on a night tour - they even lent us wellies and because I didn't have any long trousers I was even lent some of the hosts. When we didn't manage to see some of the animals we were wanting to see (Piranhas) the host made sure that we fit another trip in the following day. They really go above and beyond to make sure you're happy. As for the place it's in a wonderful setting, amongst the jungle - and you get to hear all of the natural sounds of the jungle which we loved! The lake in the back also has two Caimans which we were able to spot. 5/5 would highly recommend especially if you are looking for an interactive and welcoming place
