Casa do Louro

A very beautiful house with lots of space and amazing views. We stayed in the bottom apartment for a few nights and it was quite comfortable. There’s a private bathroom on the bottom floor and two spacious rooms, one bedroom and the living room with a kitchen area, both of them have huge glass windows/doors with great views of the ocean. Duarte had even left some wine for us, which was quite nice. The house has everything you might need for your stay.

The view was exelent, you see the ozean from the bett or the sofa.. the apartment is really huge, well equiped.

Unfortunately there were few cocrouches, seems like that this is the problem in whole area. The bathroom could have better ventilation.

Beautiful location! Really nice garden and view, really quiet place. The house is quite big, the bathroom also (altought there are not windows for the ground floor one)

Nothing! There is a really steep road to arrive at the house, it will scary you the first time maybe ahahah but we managed to do it!

Really pretty views from the big windows, modern accommodations and responsive host.

No supplies whatsoever. Not even salt or pepper. If you wanted to really use the apartment, needed to go buy supplies immediately. We would have appreciated salt/pepper, oil, garbage bags, extra toilet paper, etc.

Lovely comfortable apartment; Fantastic views over Calheta towards the sea. Good location.

Very hard to find when we arrived at night. Access via an incredibly steep laneway. Building site nearby and on one day our electricity and water supply were cut off for a while. TV and coffee machine didn't appear to work (or we couldn't get them to work). There should have been a user guide explaining how various things worked e.g. getting on Wi-Fi. The only contact number we had was the owner who apparently lived abroad in South Africa.

The arrival too hard for a car with little power
