Brighton Marina Floating home

Location great. Surrounding restaurants not really my thing too many burger places. Yacht club food OK good menu. Quite quiet which was unexpected but was lovely to sit on balcony at night listening to the water.

Accommodation needs a bit of tlc but was adequate for our stay.

The balcony! Added bonus really. Great location, superb facilities with everything you needed. We couldn`t pick a fault on this property, an absolute gem in a beautiful place. Thank you for our stay Mr Robin!

Nothing!

The floating home is really well kitted out and comfortable. The view of the marina and all the boats from the terrace is lovely. Although the Marina is a good 50 minute walk from the town centre, it means you are closer to the nicer and quieter part of the seafront beaches. To get to the centre, you can either cycle, cycle paths are brilliant, or walk and get the little electric train. Good fun! There are plenty of restaurants, pubs at the marina and a large Asda a short walk away.

The marina people have to go through a metal gate to their showers and toilets and to go in and out of the marina, the gate is underneath the floating home. From 7 in the morning, there is constant metal loud banging noise every few minutes, slightly less often during the day and again later on. It is really very disruptive.

The host was very helpful and kind. The flat was perfect! Very clean, all appliances in perfect condition. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Location was super, nice view of the marina, easy to get into town. Property was ideal size for 2 of us and bed was super comfy. Balcony a nice touch aswell. Restaurants and bars pubs all within couple of hundred yards and parking easy

The only improvement I would suggest is the security gate. Appreciate there’s a warning to all users to not let slam but most ignore it. Whilst only a mild irritation during the day, it does interrupt sleep. Not really the hosts fault who was fantastic
