Springvale Farm

Absolutely perfect for any Getaway, you feel as though you have your own yard with the cottage. Travelled from Cape Town with our 3 dogs, and it suited us perfectly with all the space & hot tub. Everything you could possibly need is there, great value and thank you we will be back!!

Loved that there was fresh produce on arrival, loved the coziness of the place, the fireplace, the canoes were awesome

I selected jacuzzi and pet friendly on booking.com but then our place did not have a jacuzzi, our neighbour in the stone cottage had a leak so it made an awful noise every 35 seconds which disturbed the peace, we didn’t have hot water on the last day as the geyser said error, we didn’t know we could buy milk from where they milk the cows until it was too late as we were leaving early the next day and there was only feta and rusks in the shop with a few small things

The views , privacy and we had everything we needed

We adored our stay, the farm was beautiful and a joy to spend time on. We loved the wood-burning stove in our cottage and spent most of our time relaxing near it. The extra touches of farm fresh eggs, milk, butter and bread were divine! PLUS, we spent hours hiking around the farm, seeing all the beautiful wildlife and even collecting porcupine quills.

What a treat! We booked Springvale to break up the drive to the coast because we could only leave jhb after 13:00. We loved it so much we cut our beach holiday short to visit again on the way back. Magnificent pet friendly option. Fresh bread, milk and eggs were such a divine special touch. Our one year old is obsessed with the farm. We stayed in Ou houd and sunflower cottage, both equally beautiful. Beds are very comfortable. And, our chocolate Labrador was in heaven. By far our favourite accommodation in midlands. Loved our stay!

Absolutely nothing.

Loved it so much! Wish we could have stayed more nights. Fresh bread, eggs and milk on arrival. What a treat! Highly recommend.
