Very welcoming and cosy feeling, staff was very polite and helpful

Location was perfect, views were amazing, the host was lovely and so helpful. The place had everything you needed and a few little extras which were lovely.

TV in the bedroom could have been a bit more accessible, bigger or lower down, bedroom and bathroom had a slope but we got used to it.

Ed met me at the property and he was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Was able to find a place to store my bike.

Absolutely lovely apartment in a perfect position opposite the pier and next to the high street. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt very well looked after by our hosts.

Perfect location for the town's central shops and seafront. Attractive apartment that matched the photos and completed by a wonderful range of modern facilities throughout. Excellent Wi-Fi. The hosts are very pleasant and helpful. No penny-pinching corners cut here and it's clear the owner has put great thought into what the perfect stay should be.

This comment applies *only* to the apartment located on the top floor. You must be able bodied as the final wooden staircase is very steep, narrow and not for the faint of heart - doubly so if you've got anything in your hands. Do not select the top-floor apartment if you struggle with mobility or are carrying a baby, etc. The hosts will flag this when booking so pay heed to their words. The staircase for all the floors/apartments below is very good and of no concern.

The property had a lovely feel about it. It was spotless, had everything that is needed for a weekend away. The bed is amazing! An all round amazing place to stay. Would heartily recommend anyone staying at Pier View. My husband and I will be back again soon. Thank you to our lovely hosts. X

Absolutely nothing.

Staff were brilliant. Helped us with luggage and parking, extremely friendly, courteous and helpful. Accommodation was fabulous, with fantastic views over sea and pier. Dining room was perfect for entertaining family guests. Guest lounge was amazing, with balcony to enjoy the views. Kitchen was very well equipped.

The only reason why I haven't given it a 10 is that the kitchen is not so much cramped as badly arranged (sorry!), but we are very fussy, having stayed in a lot of self catering accommodation over the years. Also, we'd have appreciated the sitting area/second bedroom having some more comfy chairs for guests, but I guess that's because the bed needs to open out. Can I suggest, if you know only people are staying that you make it look more like a sitting area?
