Oceanside Apartment

location was good, what breakfast?

Location, close to beach. Pool and spa is awesome. Smart Tv, large opening living area.

Was tidy but not clean. Need a new cleaner. Found hair in the sheets when opend double bed. Fold out couch had dirty sheets. Some of the dishes were dirty. Second room very small with no windows and bunks were not very comfy. Bathroom was dusty and for the price expected to be clean. Cleaner was rude, knocked on door and said we were supposed to be out at 10am when said 10.30am on instructions.

Location was great . Property manager was very helpful and friendly

Laundry facilities in room were not available as originally advertised , heated towel rail was discounted .

Great location close to the main beach.

We only got given 1 set of keys for the family of 3 to use even though the information booklet in the apartment says that guests get 2 sets of keys. Since we only had 1 set of keys I had to separate the entry fob from the apartment door key as I was going to do grocery shopping in the car so needed the fob to re-enter the building, and the family were going to the pool so had to keep the apartment door key. Well it happened....on return we forgot to put all keys back together and so the next day when we went to the beach we couldn't get back in to the building as the fob was on our car key set. Our host couldn't help as she was not in the area and said that we should have made a special request for a second set of keys, which we didn't know about. We were warned that "OUR APARTMENT IS NOT PART OF OCEANSIDE RECEPTION, PLEASE DO NOT ASK ANY ENQUIRIES FROM THE RECEPTION, CALL US DIRECTLY." We asked other residents to let us in which they said they couldn't (even though we showed them our key), so our only alternative was to ask reception for help. What a rude set of people.......they could see that we had booked the room but said they couldn't let us in as we hadn't booked directly with them. When we pleaded with them they told us to get away and stop wasting their time. When I told them that they were being extremely rude they threated to call the police if we didn't vacate the reception area immediately. This encounter soured our stay at the apartment. Eventually after standing around for absolute ages some kind man let us in to the building. I must note that we have stayed at other places in the area and never have we come across this type of separation of guests in one building, nor this kind of treatment. So if staying at this apartment make sure you get 2 sets of keys, and request these up-front before your stay. The other thing I didn't like is that the main bedroom has no drawers for packing away clothes!

Brilliant location. Everything one needs is in the apartment! Loved the hot pool also.

Longer access to the pool would have been nice and a clock down there would have been handy!
