Plettenberg Bay Unit 10 Whale Rock Gardens Apartment

Loved the overall house. Had a weired experience with bedside lights just coming on twice. Early hours of the morning. Without any movement in the room.

Could not make use of pool facilities..braai area not really a braai area so also did not utilize.

Nice and functional apartment in a safe and convenient location.

The pool was closed due to water restrictions. Off course it isn’t a problem but would have been nice to let people know. For the same reasons the bath could not be used.

Easy access, good location and all the amenities required

Unfortunately no mirrors in the one room. Also the conventional oven and microwave situation is complex to work with

Extremely spacious and beautifully decorated. Finishes in the apartment are luxurious and a lot of attention to detail has been taken in terms of decor. Located in a secure estate just a few minutes walk to the beach.

Some of the amenities are slightly worn - old towels with jik marks and toaster only works on one side. But not an issue really as they still seemed clean. Due to water restrictions in the area the bath plug has been removed and the pool is locked up.

The whole property was nice and spacious, clean with good quality appliances. It also had a very cute little patio on the front with sofas. We could also use the washing machine. It at a walking distance from a shopping area with supermarkets, a pharmacy and a cafe.

The dryer didn't work and it was raining, so it was a bit tricky. Also, we would have liked to be told in advance that the swimming pool was not accessible because it was not being cleaned. We had to be told by the guards at the entrance when we asked where we could find it. Part of the reason we chose this property was the pool and we were very disappointed and felt a bit cheated about not being able to use it and not being made aware in advance..
