Condominio Oceano Oro

I had a short weekend stay here for my first time in Puerto Vallarta and it was fantastic. I chose this location because of its proximity to the night life and water. It didn’t disappoint. Actually exceeding expectations. The rental was clean and beautiful. The host was very polite and communicative. Everything worked from the amenities and made the stay stress free. The location was epic. You’re around some of the best food and activities location you could ask for in this area. It was touristy but also you can find more local fun and restaurants just a few steps away. 10/10 experience I’ll definitely return.

- NOISE! We were traveling with a baby and couldnt sleep at night due to the party noises. There was no warning on this by the hosts or booking.com - amenities. There were no basic amenities, even hand soap, and the bed wasn't very comfortable

I loved everything. Location was great. Playa Los Muertos, Mirrador El Cerro de La Cruz great places to walk to. WALDOS across the street you can buy a few groceries there. You can catch the bus to go anywhere right outside the front door . The best view on the top floor if you aren’t lucky enough to get sea view from your room. Everything was great. .

Location, comfortable bed, responsive to issues, ie, lack of water x 2, lack of amenities. Linens were good. View is gorgeous, and you are in the middle of all the best tourist spots! Great restaurants steps away.

No check in staff or information about the unit. Unable to turn down or off the AC, condo was freezing. The furniture was dirty aand broken. Dirty junk in the drawers and cupboards. Aging building in need of overhaul and maintenance. Sewer smell in building stairwell. 60 stairs to unit, elevator not usable.

Location and view, great breezes, laundry facility, lots of room, pricing. On the Malecon. Very responsive condo manager. Rooftop view.

Bedrooms adjacent to very noisy street Next door neighbour smoking on the adjacent balcony, we were downwind. Dated apartment. No pool, no beach nearby. No gym.

Lots of noise from bar close to facility until 1:30 in the morning. Odor from Master bathroom.

Sticky floors, dirty towels, bed wasn’t comfortable, water was cold, AC didn’t work properly.

Location, staff, immediate support

Essentially, this property has as near to a perfect panoramic view of PV as is possible, as far as I can tell. The sunset is directly in front of the living room balcony, and should you wish to move to the roof terrace, which is a few short steps away, there are numerous seating areas to enjoy a full view of the bay, the mountainous terrain that surrounds all of PV and the nightlife as people pass by in front of the building. You are high up so you have this feel of being secluded but also being a part of the atmosphere. If you want nice photos, this is exactly where you would want to be. The apartment itself was very nice and despite there being a couple of very minor things, it was more than comfortable, clean, and very safe, they had plenty of locks at the building entrance and the door to the apartment, as well as CCTV all around. Whilst I am on the note of security, there is a small security box that is very convenient, however, maybe not enough room for a laptop, but very useful and secure nonetheless. The internet seemed quick, the box is in the main room of the apartment, which always makes life easier. The location in relation to activities is difficult for me to review as I mostly stayed around the area, but there are plenty of food places, as you would expect, that are near to the property. If you go north along the seafront, there are lots of souvenir shops and a few affordable beach bars/restaurants, and if you go south, there are a few less shops. Los Arcos is in the same square as the property, so it is easy to spot from the balcony and the terrace.

The air conditioning was difficult to work, and I was unable to understand one of the showers enough to get it to work, but they did not impact the stay in the slightest. The property itself doesn't have particularly modern furniture, and I would not say there is a running theme throughout, and some parts seem like they are old or dated.
