Horrible Experience – Avoid This Hotel at All Costs I had a terrible experience at this hotel and highly recommend avoiding it. I booked my stay through Booking.com for 2 adults and 2 kids (ages 5 and 8) for two nights. When I arrived, everything seemed fine, but the next day, things took a dramatic turn. I had four adults come to my door demanding 20,000 yen in CASH. There was a clear miscommunication about the number of guests in the room. Despite the fact that I had booked for four people, the hotel apparently only had me down for two adults. I tried to explain the situation, but the staff was unhelpful and aggressive. They even went as far as to tell me that if I didn’t pay the amount immediately, I would have to leave the property. This kind of behavior was completely unacceptable, and I felt extremely unsafe and disrespected. My kids were so scared by the situation – I couldn’t believe what was happening, and I was worried for their safety. The villa itself was very small, and the walls are paper-thin and beds are uncomfortable. You can hear everything outside, even if you whisper. It was not only uncomfortable, but it made the whole stay stressful, especially with young kids who are easily disturbed by noise. I understand that mistakes can happen, but the way this situation was handled was appalling. I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially families. You’re better off staying somewhere else if you value your peace of mind and comfort.
