Maison 1747 - Gîtes de Standing en Vieille-ville avec Cour

Ons appartement was eenmaal voorbij de voordeur slecht te vinden. We bleken ons verkeerd geïnstalleerd te hebben (deur open!) in het appartement dat we herkenden van de foto’s op de site. Dat bleek bestemd voor andere gasten. Wij werden verwezen naar een klein appartementje waarvan we geen foto’s op de site hadden gezien vooraf. Achteraf hadden we in de mails moeten lezen (alleen in het Frans) dat we een witte deur hadden moeten nemen.

Je kan ontbijt bestellen die ze ter plaatse leveren. Het is midden in het centrum gelegen is.

. The positive is that it is centrally located in the old town and accessible to lovely little bars however that's where the positives end I'm afraid.

I don't like writing negative reviews but for the benefit of other travellers this place is disappointing and I cannot recommend, especially at €113 per night. We arrived to no heating in the room and to what is a damp, cold and shabby room where the towels and bedding felt damp as a result. The room didn't heat up much despite us putting the heating on ourselves. In addition, very small bed wedged into the corner, terrible pillows with no structure to them, unclean areas, old dish sponge left out (despite them providing new one), old tea towel with hole in it,badly maintained areas with taps not attached, wobbly tables and lots of maintenance concerns. Very sad to see such a beautiful old building look like this. Could be lovely but lots more work and care is needed to make this an appropriate place for paying guests. Cannot recommend.

Pillows not so good

So full of character as a property. Lovely touches like complimentary local biscuits. Really comfortable bed and bedding.

Can not honestly find fault.
