Maison 1747 - Gîtes de Standing en Vieille-ville avec Cour

The location was incredible, right in between the castle and cathedral! The owner was very accommodating with our lack of french!

Unclear initially what to do with the rubbish and more parking information would be beneficial as the street outside fills up very quickly

Die Lage im Zentrum und die Aufteilung der Wohnung sind prima. Sie wurde mal mit viel Liebe eingerichtet, allerdings sind einige Sachen die erneuert werden müssten.

Es steht es gibt in unmittelbarer Nähe Parkplätze, das stimmt, aber die sind immer belegt. Man kann an den Tennisplätzen kostenfrei parken, das sind ca. 6 min Fussweg. Zum Gepäck ein- und ausladen schwierig. Der Müll hat sich im Hinterhof gestapelt, sehr unschön, im Hausflur stand die ganze Zeit eine Matratze im Weg und die Vermieter reagierten erst nach 6 Tagen auf unsere Nachrichten. Die Kaffeemaschine läuft nicht durch und der Staubsauger saugt nicht. Es fehlt ein Wäscheständer, wenn man vom Strand kommt, das man seine Handtücher mal trocknen könnte.

Just beware if you have a big car, parking on street in front of Gite a bit tight. Smaller cars easier. Not a problem though as there is plentiful parking nearby. Just don't risk the street if you have a big car - Audi 8 etc

Great location in the old town, quirky old building with lots of character but with all the modern comforts. Great reliable fast wifi. So close to the best bits of the town with great bakery less than 2 minutes away where you could eat in for breakfast. Quite a lot of cafes bars and restaurants a very short stroll away.

Bit of a bad smell upon arrival, think it was something a previous occupant cooked but it was temporary. Only bathroom is on different floor to the bedrooms, and it’s down a twisting open staircase.

Location

It smelt musty and had a damp cold feel about it, as an asthmatic it’s produced chest irritation. It’s in need of repair eg loose fittings like hooks hanging off the wall and very loose wobbly kitchen tap. The door lock on the apartment door was very difficult to lock on exit - really not acceptable. Curtains difficult to close hanging loops were ripped! I particularly didn’t like the fact that the apartment we were given was nothing like what we expected from the photos on booking.com and feel conned.

The accommodation was fantastic, very cosy and just what we needed. Everything was spotlessly clean.

The person who met us couldn't speak English but she was lovely and I understood most of what she was saying!

Excellent location for visiting the historic old town with its wonderfully preserved battlements from which there are excellent views of the town. The room is within easy walking distance of the centre with its Wednesday market and there's a bakery and restaurants nearby.

The road outside is rather narrow with high kerbs so parking is challenging without scraping the wheels. With a right hand drive car the difficulty was compounded.
