ZAZAThe out door shower
DEZAThe location of the cabins was excellent; we felt private and secure, yet were right within the little 'market' complex where we could go out for breakfast or lunch, buy food etc. We woke up to a hot air balloon taking off right outside our cabin one morning - spectacular! We had lovely views of game from the front of our cabins. The cabins themselves were small but had everything one needed. Nice hot showers, cosy and private feeling. We had booked all three little cabins for our group so we were very private and no other people stayed or came near our cabin area. The larger cabin (4-sleeper) had a wonderful indoor fire heater which kept us toasty and warm.
The two smaller cabins were a little chilly as they didn't have working fire heaters, and the corrugated iron rooves weren't sealed so if the weather had been windy, the cold air may have whistled in. One of the smaller cabins had an electric heater but it wasn't quite up to the task of heating the room in midwinter. Plenty of blankets were provided, though, and once in bed, the occupants slept comfortably even in sub-zero weather conditions. The outdoor shower didn't have a door. Guests should be aware that the cabins only have indoor bedrooms; the kitchen, showers, and cooking areas are all separate and outdoors; there is no indoor communal area/lounge. Not that this was a problem for us - we loved our stay - but it is good to be aware of this, especially in cold weather. This is, however, shown and stated on the website.
FRLa terrasse avec vue sur la nature et les animaux (zèbres, phacochères, springbocks, autruches...). Le côté insolite du lieu (à côté d'une petite piste d'atterrissage et de petites boutiques).
ZAZAZALocation is great and Spha was a great host. Very lovely experience with the outdoor showers.
The cabins boarding is loose and exposed to the elements, lots of bugs, especially spiders were able to creep inside.
