Extremely disappointing stay I stayed six nights at Mayan Monk Hotel, Playa del Carmen, and it was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The hot water works only for 1–2 minutes after waiting 5–10 minutes. The hairdryer was broken and the replacement worked only on the lowest setting. The safe didn’t work – instead I received a small portable metal box with a key, which anyone could take away. The Wi-Fi constantly disconnects and the power outlets barely charge devices. The rooftop pool is dirty, cloudy, and clearly not cleaned. The ice cubes are made from tap water – I suffered two bacterial infections during my stay. The room smelled terrible and was never cleaned once in six days – no trash removed, no towels replaced, nothing. This is completely unhygienic and unacceptable. The manager’s behavior was absolutely shocking. I had a medical emergency (possible thrombosis, hospital visit), and instead of showing any understanding, he sent me a message through Booking telling me to check out by 12:00 or he would enter my room and remove me by force. No help, no empathy, nothing. Conclusion: Dirty, broken, unsafe, and managed by someone who clearly doesn’t care about guests’ wellbeing. Do NOT book this hotel.

La piscine était vide lors de notre visite. Certainement pas assez de clients ... Nous avons eu une fuite d'eau assez conséquente du WC, j'ai dû mois même éponger l'eau avec une serviette qui n'a pas été remplacé. La petite bouteille d'eau est vendue 6$

Todo estuvo excelente! Desde el momento en que te vas hasta que sales. Muy amables. Las instalaciones muy limpias y excelente ubicación. No tuve ningún problema con el internet.

La struttura non ha niente che non va, ma mi sono trovata malissimo con l’organizzazione, 0 comprensione da parte dell’amministratore, se potessi tornare indietro non prenoterei questa struttura. N.b. Quando ho prenotato tra i servizi c’era la piscina ma poi successivamente mi hanno scritto per dirmi che durante il mio soggiorno la piscina non sarebbe stata disponibile
