Amarre Bay

Loved the apartment! What you get - first floor apartment (there is a lift), access to underground parking (if you want it - small extra fee), well fitted kitchen (what I would call a "classic holiday let kitchen" - just enough), comfortable lounge with big TV (didn't use it), lovely balcony with plenty of room and sun all day, good sized master bedroom with huge and comfy bed plus a twin room. There is also access to the roof but we didn't use it at all as we had everything we needed down in the apartment. And then there is the location - you are right on the front with wonderful views of the beach and easy access to beach front restaurants. The harbour area is a short 5 minute stroll away which is where we did most of our dining out. Whilst we were there the boiler broke. Stuff like this happens, its just one of those things but the key is "how does the host react"...Dani got someone out same day and it was sorted by the afternoon. Amazing service. Thank you so much! As for Puerto de Mogan itself - absolutely lovely little town, everything is right there on your doorstep, no need to go anywhere else if you don't want to, plenty of great restaurants. Fairly low key night life which is a positive as far as I'm concerned - plenty of other places on the the island if you want the party life style. Note that we were there at the end of April into early May. News to me that this is a less busy period and one or two restaurants were closing for May/June. Not a problem but worth knowing about if you're going at this time of year. Finally, we hired a car for a couple of days as it was our first time on the island. OMG the interior of the island is incredible. If you've not been before I highly recommend hiring a car.

Coming home

Location is absolutely amazing. From the balcony you can enjoy your morning coffee while seing the sunrise over the cliffs. You are right on the beach and can jump in the water in two minutes from leaving the apartment. And you get to enjoy the sunset over the harbour from the balcony. So beautiful! Kitchen has all you need to cook a few meals and you have lots of great restaurants close by.

Not the quietest of places. You can hear neighbours snorting and the restaurants moving tables and chairs around from around 07.00 in the morning. In the evening until around 22.00 you can hear music from restaurants downstairs.

Die Lage des Appartements und die Terrasse sind überragend. Das große Schlafzimmer ist ok, die Matratzen sind richtig gut, das kleinere Schlafzimmer ist wirklich sehr klein aber für eine Person ok. Schön ist auch, dass es Stühle und Isoliermatten für den Strand gibt.

Die Unterkunft wirbt mit 105 m2 Wohnfläche und 2 Badezimmern mit Bidet. Leider ist das Appartement erheblich kleiner und es gibt nur ein Badezimmer ohne Bidet. Schade, dass diese Angaben immer noch nicht korrigiert wurden obwohl ich es am ersten Tag unseres Aufenthalts (Anfang Dezember 2025) gemeldet habe. Von Seiten der Appartementverwaltung gab es keine Abhilfe und auch kein finanzielles Entgegenkommen. Booking.com hat mir einen Reisegutschein in Form einer Prämie zugeschickt. Wir hätten das Appartement mit nur einem Bad mit drei Erwachsenen nicht gebucht.

Прекрасное расположение и вид, терраса просто идеальная. Легкое заселение, удобный подземный гараж, чисто, удобные кровати.

De locatie was geweldig: een ruim balkon met zeezicht en met schaduw dankzij de jaloezieën. Vanuit het appartement direct toegang tot strand en centrum.

Het matras op het twee persoonsbed was wat vaak beslapen…
