Bonneys Barn Retreat - Luxury homely getaway

Really clean and comfortable accommodation with some milk, lovely local apple juice and cookies waiting for us on arrival. Host let us have an Amazon delivery arrive before we did which was really helpful. It was really hot so we were happy to see two fans in the property too.

As others have said there are naturally a lot of bugs in the evenings so some citronella candles might be helpfu in the garden. Also black out blinds in the bedrooms would make a rare lie in easier! We could squish 3 out of the 4 of us into the hot tub but worth bearing in mind it was very snug if you're in a group or travelling with in-laws etc.

The accommodation was perfect, well equipped and comfy. It is in a lovely quiet location, and the patio area and hot tub looks out over fields, good for spotting hares and deer as you relax of an evening. Certainly lovely spending time in the hot tub after a day out. The nearest pub serves good food, and is just a 10min walk up the road. We had a small issue with the television, which the host came and sorted immediately, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely stay here again, and being just a short drive to Beccles, and other places to visit, both in Suffolk and Norfolk there was plenty to explore.

Excellent location for a local wedding. The property is lovely and clean. Lovely extra touches by the hosts which made us all feel welcome. Would recommend and would stay again

The barn was spotless, bed was extremely comfortable and had everything we needed for a 3 night stay. We were left milk, cookies and juice which was a lovely touch. The hot tub and fire pit were also perfect, the village is so quiet and peaceful, our stay was absolutely perfect!

The only issue we had was that the only large frying pan had what looked like fried egg caked on that we couldn’t wash off to use - this of course wasn’t the host’s fault though as left by previous guest!

Hot tub was excellent. Outside space was all encompassing and well equipped. Bonneys barn is in a peaceful and quiet location, perfect for our stay. The barn has many characterful features that were all to our taste. Highly recommend
