the property was clean and tidy and in a good location

I had a problem with the keys for the front door, even had a key bend whilst trying to get in one night. the mattress was very basic and not comfortable at all. also the cutlery was minimal and very basic, had a knife brake whilst buttering toast

clean, spacious and had pretty much all we needed. nice to be able to sit together on an evening and watch some TV.. much better than having two hotel rooms. ideal for access to the lovely local Italian restaurant two doors down.

there wasn’t anything we disliked really- as a suggestion for the owners, it would have been really helpful to have a mirror in at least one of the bedrooms.. and also a dishcloth in the kitchen. like I said, these are small things and all in all, great stay.

Spacious, clean property well located for Stockton town centre. Easy to collect the keys as we arrived late. Good value for the size of the property.

Keys were in a lock box so easy to get. The place had clean floors and carpets looked new. Nice clean bedding and fluffy towels. Apartment is big and spacious. Good size bedrooms and bathroom. Spacious kitchen and living room. Although the heating was turned low, it was lovely and warm. We didn't need to touch any of the settings. Had a brand new washing machine but we didn't use. Very central. Close to takeaways and food places. Parking round the back, it's only £2.40 per day. Lidl and Aldi are within walking distance at opposite sides of the building. The kitchen was fully equipped with utensils etc. The host tried to make the Apartment as comfy as possible. It was a good size apartment and would be good for families. Excellent customer service. I contacted the host with a query and they responded very quickly

The apartment was generally run down. Mattress was well used and soft. Bathroom has mildew on the seals. Fixture and fittings were old. I found the TV quite small because the living room area is quite large. There was washing up liquid but no brushes or sponges to wash up. Can be a bit noisy at night.

Property was poorly marketed. it’s located in a very rough neighbourhood which never felt safe, the facilities needs massive upgrading, shower taps constantly fell off, tub never drained. The beds were reasonable but the sheets were very cheap and had stains on them. The kitchen didn’t have any amenities which were specified(tea, sugar) and was left dirty when I arrived. I had to ask for a re-clean which didn’t happen till the next day. As a women alone this is not a safe place to stay.
