Location

Light didn't work in main bedroom, no bulb in living room lamp. Bathroom smelt damp and musty. Drawers in double bed fell apart when tried to open them, impossible to use. Bed sheets weren't ironed, no wine glasses. Have stayed in air b and bs and this was the worst for the money. It was a special birthday and retirement weekend I had paid for for friends, so I was very disappointed and embarrassed by the place I had chosen, certainly not worth the money.

The area was good it's nice that it was a private apartment on its own. Good tv

No smart tv Was cold because lack of heating The shower head fell off because the holder is loose Could do with a deep clean

Location was great. Owner was quick to respond to any messages I sent. Beds great

Heater in bedroom stopped working but no big deal Some parts (blinds, heaters) probably need updating but for the money we paid and the location near the city it was a decent stay.

Cosy and cheap and the host was easy enough to get in contact with when it came to getting the code for the keys.

Nothing to complain about.

Spacious rooms, Bedroom, kitchen and bathroom were nicely presented but all had things which let them down.

On entering the apartment it was very cold and a little heat would make it more welcoming.We could not work out how to operate the digital heater controls in the kitchen and bedroom.A txt from the host explaining where the switches were was of no help as it was obvious where they were. What is needed is a laminated card with the clear instructions on how to SET the controls. Fortunately we were able to make do with the manually operated heaters in the hallway and bathroom. The kitchen itself was tidy and quite modern but what let it down badly was the view out of the kitchen window this could be reasonable but all you could see was the jungle like growth outside which virtually covered the whole window.If this was cleared it would make the kitchen a lot brighter and there would be a reasonable view. Also the windows in the kitchen and bedroom although they were double glazed I think they've seen better days as they both let in quite a draught. On entering the apartment there was quite a stagnant water smell and on investigation it seemed to be coming from the bathroom. The room itself was nicely tiled on the walls and floor the shower was nice and the wash hand basin was nice BUT what let this room down was the state of the cupboard underneath the work surface. It was in a poor state of repair with the door not fitting properly and inside was terrible, all around the waste pipe and underneath the bottom shelf was covered in expanding foam which hadn't even been trimmed off level. Coupled with this the shower screen which was naturally flexible was where water was going underneath when having a shower onto the main floor and under the cupboard just mentioned and I think this is where the smell of stagnant water was coming from. The shower screen needs to be fixed to be more rigid and sealed to stop any water from seeping underneath. We hope all the above comments are taken as constructive criticism not just straight complaints.
