Sehr sehr grosses, tolles Apartement. Super Aussicht, nur die Strasse liegt zwischen Apartement und Meer. Trotzdem super ruhig in der Nacht.

Very noisy as there is 2 pubs underneath goes on until after 12.30.Also need instructions on how to work safe.

Everything was good except for the sofa.

The apartment is in a fantastic location and has amazing views. It was very clean and had everything we needed for a great holiday. Very easy check in details.

There was nothing we didn’t like .

The apartment is easily accessed by public transportation (bus 61 from the airport) and located directly on the main drag. A coupld of grocery stores, pharmacy and lot's of fun dining within easy walking distance. The apartment itself was spacious and I really enjoyed sitting on the balcony with a nice view of the sea. I did a lot of reading and appreciated the supply of books in the unit. Across the street there is an entry to a lovely little sand beach (among the lava rock) and the swimming there was wonderful and somewhat protected from the wind. The sea-walk was also directly across the street, so long walks and/or going for a morning jog was very easy. The main beaches are very accessible.

First, It was very hard to find the apartment even with google maps. The street name was hard to locate (I asked several people!) and when I finally found the unit, the entry code given to me was wrong. The phone number I had didn't work - I discovered after I asked someone passing by that it was the international number and I didn't have the local knowledge needed to know how to modify it. With the assistance of a stranger (who thought I had been scammed) I was able to leave a message and the person got back to me quickly - which was great - and gave me the new code. But before I was even fully in the door, she started asking me questions about my departure plans - very poor planning as I had been travelling by that time for over 20 hours (including over an hour circling the neighbourhood trying to find the unit)! Second, while on the one-hand location is very accessible, on the other hand, it is on a very lively, busy street over a number of businesses including a karoke bar that is very loud well into the night. So it was never quiet or dark. I was mostly ok with this (my sleep patterns were a mess and I could enjoy the entertainment without going out)...but I imagine many would not be! Finally, the apartment had been heavily sprayed with either RAID and/or a very strong (and sickly-sweet), air freshner - to which I had an allergic reaction! The smell never left the apartment during the four nights that I was there even with windows left open. Cleanliness was 'ok' but not wonderful (for example when I lifted sofa cushions there was considerable food droppings and dirt, stainless sink hadn't been disinfected prior to my arrival.....).
