Luci fredde in tutta la casa... Rendono veramente l'ambiente poco accogliente di sera (consiglio: cambiate le lampadine e mettetele a luce calda... Cambia tutto!). Tapparella rotta in una delle camere da letto, finestra con meccanismo di chiusura rotto nell'altra camera.

The best part about this place is the location. Just minutes from the main street, and along the way, a couple restaurants and a small grocery store. From the street there is a short climb of walkway and stairs to get to the apartment. It's on a visually interesting and beautiful Italian hillside with views of other apartment buildings that dot the hills. The apartment is clean and has a nice kitchen table with a view out to the other surrounding buildings. It's higher up a few stories, so that makes the view more interesting. Out that little veranda is some sort of heating/cooling unit and clothes lines for drying your wash. There is a washing machine in the kitchen, which came in handy. I wouldn't say the apartment was large, but it has 2 bedrooms, which was necessary for us traveling with my son and his partner. There's a nice kitchen window that looks out over the hillside opposite the balcony area where the clothesline is. Bedrooms are quite small, but more on that in section 2 of this review.

I was hesitant to write my honest opinion of this place because it served our purposes fine. When you're in the Cinque Terre, you don't spend much time in your accommodations, so much of what I'm going to say should be tempered with that fact. We weren't repulsed by the place at all. It was clean and fine for the short time we were there, but I feel compelled to say a little about some things that were not great, so anyone that is booking it won't have their expectations set too high. Would I recommend this place to friends or family? I think so. As mentioned, it is in a great location and worked out fine for us. Now the bits I didn't like; The beds are very uncomfortable. They really need some mattress toppers. We could feel the springs inside these budget mattresses. This is an easy, and affordable fix that would bring a good upgrade to a nights sleep. Things that need repair; toilet seat is broken and not sized for the bowl. If you move slightly, the entire seat slides off one side. My wife finally just kept the seat in the upright position. The mirror light has one burned out bulb. The tv did not work. It turned on, but no channels were available. I didn't go back to the listing to see if this was actually and included amenity, but if it was not, why even have the tv there? Again, we weren't in Monterosso to watch tv, but its worth mentioning. The kitchen faucet is very loose. You have to use 2 hands to hold it while you turn it on/off. There's no waste basket in the bathroom. No hooks or racks to put towels. The stove does not have a spark setting to light the gas. It's necessary to use a match or lighter. There were lighters in the drawer, but all were empty. We were able to use the spark of the hand held lighters to ignite the gas, but it was always tricky to light without burning your hand when it caught. No dish towel provided. There's no wifi (I missed this in the listing). Minimal receptacles for charging.

staff bed in poor condition i paid for double room, but bed was cheap and just on screw we sit and it broke, they took 2 hours ro fix, my 2 days visit, privacy and security all get messed up, worst choice i made.. think twice before you book, no wifi, weak furniture
