BEWARE, this listing is not what it says it is. When we arrived the entire apartment building was covered in construction scaffolding and the unit was dark and dreary. We called the phone number on the listing and got a management company which was not flexible in our cancelling our reservation because we would never book an apt. under construction. I tried to explain we flew from half way around the world to one of the most romantic places in Italy and are not willing to stay in a building under construction. The management company was not flexible or a least bit understanding and tried to book us into another unit that no one wanted to stay in another city. We refused the offer. This is why they have the booking as non-refundable because they know no one will like it once they see the condition it's in. Additionally, this building is wedged behind another building so the windows look directly into another building, there is minimal lighting and certainly no ocean view. I find this very unethical and really soured me to traveling ever again staying in an apartment. We had to get booking.com involved and they were able to get us a partial refund that didn't even cover one nights stay. Stay in a hotel in Monterosso, there are nice ones on the waterfront, fortunately we were able to get one of the last rooms, we managed to turn lemons into lemonade. Don't stay here.

Older style apartment that had everything you need. Great to have air conditioning and washing machine. Excellent location with easy walk from station, to beach and restaurants. Very helpful and responsive hosts.

Would have been good to have a couch or some sitting area other than the kitchen table.

Nothing we didn’t like but will say the hot water didn’t last longer than a couple mins .

The property’s location was close to a local grocery store and not far from the ocean. You could see the ocean from the balcony. It was a clean and fairly comfortable property.

There was an unexpected step down from the bathroom to the bathroom door that was missed by a couple of us causing some tumbles the first time a person went into the bathroom. Also this unit didn’t have any WiFi or a living room to spend time hanging out in with my family… we used the dining table as our gathering spot, so it wasn’t a big deal, but a sofa or comfy chairs would have been nice.

Property manager was responsive.

Terrible beds, noisy as walls were very thin (could clearly hear conversations, people on balconies outside, babies crying etc.). Building was under construction and it was very loud from 7:45 to 16:00.

1) apartment with 2 separate rooms, so space for a family 2) a very well-equipped kitchen, even a washing-machine 3) clean 4) location very handy, near Monterosso's beach and railway station

1) the apartment is old and not well insulated (heat & sound). In the summertime it may be OK (fresh) but we had 8-15 degrees and it was cold in the evening. We also hear the neighbours. 2) there is no wifi (a bit disappointing) 3) if you turn on the air conditioning and the oven, the fuses blow :-)

Location was exceptional. Close to beach, restaurants & town area. Unit clean with basic inclusions. Very good communication with property manager prior and during stay.

Could be improved with inclusion of a toaster, microwave & beach towels. Please note there is no sofa even though it is in description & balcony unusable - full of clutter & air con unit.
