Ocean View Paradise!

Beautiful place with an amazing lava landscape. The host was super friendly and welcoming. At night, you can watch the stars – truly magical!

I liked that the host was very helpful. IT was a very peaceful environment. I hated to leave.

I do not have any suggestions. I don't know if there was anything I didn't like. Really enjoyed the stay.

Location is meh at best, spread out residential area but not much to look at.

Staff was rude, zero compassion or understanding; listing was unclear at the very least, if not misleading. Listing states family-friendly for kids 8+, but apparently this is only true for 1 of the units on properties. No explanation as to why this is the case but we were turn away and refused service, owner/operator refused to cancel (so we were our nearly $200 and had to find alternative accommodation), charged me for a stay they decline to allow us to have. I selected stay for 4, traveling with spouse and 2 teens, apparently they have multiple rentals, like garage additions to a house in the middle of a raised rock/dirt field. Not exactly excited about the stay regardless, but in the end we just needed a stop over on an island road trip and the unprofessionalism was just unnecessary and not the kind of nastiness I needed on my vacation. Hope that jerk has the day/life he deserves 🫤. We moved on found much more functional and hospitable stay further on our route and enjoyed our time on the island. Hawaii is far too amazing to waste your time or energy with this dump.

The facility was clean and spacious with everything advertised PLUS lots of extras including coffee with sugar and creamer as well as lots of beach towels, chairs, coolers and bags, snorkel gear, and boogie boards. Troy was super friendly and full of great information about how to best explore the island. The location felt safe and was a great home base close to several beaches, hikes, Volcanoes National Park, and Kona (you will need a vehicle). The terrain and view were especially “Big Island” and perfect for sunset and star gazing.

Very clean and comfortable stay! Troy was a great host. Will definitely stay again when we come back!

We had a lovely time. We were given full use of the house as well as well as equipment to take on our beach outings. In the evenings we sat in the hot tub under the stars. It was wondeful!

A lovely quiet location but not too far off the main road with great views of the ocean. Spotlessly clean with loads and loads of nice extra touches like dressing gowns, flip flops, snorkel gear and a hot tub. Troy met us to explain everything and gave us lots of helpful information more of which was included in the comprehensive information folder provided which gave us ideas of places to visit and where we could eat out. We wished we had stayed longer but it was fully booked.
