Beautiful cozy 3 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment

Great location that is convenient for all the local amenities and sites of interest. A direct bus to Newcastle close-by. Easy to park and access the property. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was nice. Ideal for a family of four or five. The upstairs with the spiral staircase is a cool feature. The owner is really friendly and very contactable, and will sort any minor issues quickly. A play park for the young ones is a minutes walk away. It is nice to have a river flowing outside and the area is pleasant. The bakery next door is great, and if you carry on up the hill into the village (away from the river), you can find a good chip shop (Gary's) and a friendly micro pub (Red House) at the top of the steep hill. Will definitely stay here again - if it is available!

Beautiful location with a direct bus available to city centre. Spacious rooms and great ktichen facilities.

We loved the property, it was stunning and very clean and comfortable. The view of the river and field of horses was lovely. Just wish we could have walked along the river but didn’t find a path.

Location was VERY quiet. Other than a sit in bakery, not much else to see or do around here.

Quiet location, lovely views and easy to access. Everything you need for a few days stay.

Beds not very comfortable, and the fridge takes 2 days to get cool enough to be effective.

A lovely apartment in a fantastic location. Very clean apartment. Good space. Debbie gave us good info before arrival. It’s a bit small if you have more than 4 people but it’s comfy. Great drives and walks nearby apartment. The bakery nearby is outstanding. Great breakfasts and coffees. Highly recommend this great apartment.

There were a few issues. Sofa, shower, blind in lounge (I fixed that though). Host is aware of these. It would’ve been great if the fridge had been switched on for us prior to arrival as we couldn’t use it for a while. A few more wine glasses in the cupboard would be brilliant. But nothing massive to sort.

The place was a good size and in a very quiet riverside location. The bakery was 50m from the apartment. The kitchen was well equipped. The master bedroom on an open mezzanine was beautiful. The other two rooms were fine but seemed just a little tired. The lounge / dining area was a good size and nicely presented. We went for a run and walk in the forest closeby, seeing deer and plenty of birds. This was a really great stay for our family of 6.

The water pressure means you can't use both showers at once - didn't bother us but just to be aware. The stairs going up to the apartment are steep but just one flight - again no issue for us - but just for people to be aware.

Beautiful apartment well kept and clean, nightlights were brilliant incase children woke in the night and wanted to join us on the lower level or locate the bathroom. Bakery below was a nice little treat save cooking breakfast. Children loved the spiral stair and the mezzanine floor

Parking to rear is tight with a larger car and a light by the door to obtain keys would be handy, as we arrived late, and the entrance was dark
