Just could not wish for a better place, spotless clean, lovely and warm, fantastic views and location right on the loch. Tracey and Peter could not of been more helpful, especially with two old people and a modern oven/cooker. Can not possibly rate this place any higher.

Welcoming instructional package would be great…as we wondered about some appliances etc.

Cosy, great location, generous provisions of kitchen utensils, crockery, and cutlery. Shower/ bathroom really good. All your needs catered for in style and consideration.

Some minor improvement opportunities/ considerations: black out blinds in the bedroom; two pillows each for the bed (I know there were more on top of the wardrobe), larger TV and some basic instructions, electric heaters for example.

Comfortable and reasonably priced

Comfortable, clean and cosy. A lovely peaceful spot. Perfect to relax and unwind. Great base to explore Orkney

Location, right beside the sea and the bus stop. Ease of communication with Tracey the host, who allowed me to wait beyond noon on my departure day for the first bus to town. Good public transport and local stores literally steps away. I didn't have a car but could get around on the bus no problem.

There is very little daylight which is completely out of anyone's control as you couldn't alter such a pretty building. This would be less of an issue in summer if you could throw the door open and spend long evenings at the picnic table looking over the harbour.

Beautiful location and views. Very homely cottage with excellent links to the ferry terminal. The property has a driveway, is well-stocked with kitchen utensils and crockery, laundry and ironing facilities. Towels and bedding included, good speed of Wi-Fi.

The bedroom would benefit from blackout blinds/curtains as too much light shining through.

What a charming cottage in a fabulous location, well equipped and comfortable.
