On the day of arrival at 7:30 PM, the host welcomed us, four adults and a baby under two years old. Upon entering the apartment, which is located on the ground floor/basement, I noticed that the heating was off and that it was very cold in the apartment. The host did not turn on the heating to warm up the space for us, even though he knew that we were coming with a baby. I would like to note that the outside temperature was -8°C at the time. I asked the host to give us bedding for the bed/upholstered sofa for one person so that the baby could sleep on it because the cot was old and too small for our child, to which he replied that there were 4 of us and that he did not understand what was going on. On the other days, the host turned off the heating around 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM, explaining that 22°C was enough for staying in the room, and 18°C ​​for sleeping, and that this was better for our health. He also told us that we have to ventilate the rooms every day because the moisture that remains in the room can affect the statics of the building. The outside temperature was below -8°C all day, and -16°C at night. The upholstered furniture is worn out, the dishes are old, and some were even dirty. The host does not charge for cleaning the apartment separately, but asks that everything be cleaned and left tidy before leaving. If your child, like ours, is accustomed to sleeping in the dark, you will have to make a good effort to darken the room because the curtains do not darken the space even 10%. Otherwise, the child will wake up when the sun rises. It is not allowed to enter the apartment with shoes, probably because the host does not charge for cleaning, so all our shoes were on the floor in the hallway in front of the apartment where the users of other apartments pass. The host did not understand a word of English, so all communication was via the Google Translate application since we do not speak German.

Heel mooi en ruim appartement

Wij hadden in ons gezelschap een persoon die moeilijk ter been is, wat de klim van 50 meter naar het begin van de “ski out” wat lastiger maakte.
