Location was good-Layout and design of the caravan was good.

Late delivery of a site guide on the day, promised for the AM and delivered after arrival time. Caused issues with locating and accessing the van. Keylock number delayed as the cleaning was not completed but Caravan remained unclean. bathroom towel rail, next to toilet was soiled, badly. The support rail to the shower head was badly rusted and the head would not move until force was used. The water temperature control was clogged and would not turn so water remained cold until considerable agitating released it. All radiators were full of dust, main bedroom was the worst. Wi Fi was sketchy throughout the stay despite repeated re booting (many reports were that the network was not connected to the intranet.

It’s in definite need of a spruce up. My son opened kitchen cupboard door and glass fell out and smashed all over the worktop and floor. Good job the children weren’t near. Dropped something down the back of bedside cupboard and moved it to have a look. There were half eaten sweets under the bed and so much dust and cobwebs. Found two pairs of undies in cupboard where washer was, obviously cleaner never been in there! Patio furniture rusty and half broken, rust causing stains on decking. Mattress protectors stained. Couldn’t wait to get back to my own nice clean home. Never again!

There felt like generally a bit more mess this year when pulling the sofa beds out, and under the table when we arrived and everything felt more uncared for than when we have been previous years.

Modern and spacious caravan, loved how the living/dining area and kitchen are located in the middle of the caravan with the twin bedrooms being at the front and double bedroom being at the back of the caravan. The plot comes with a parking plot at the side. Hardly any space in between verandah and side of car closest. Be warned the caravan is situated on the opposite side of road to the main entrance that we didn't realise until 15 minutes of driving around and then asking the office. The owners were fast with their communication when contacted them

I wasn't keen on having to send my driving licence photo id to the owners especially when it was booked through the app. When I asked the owners why they said to make sure I am who I said I am. But again I found this odd as all the years of using booking.com this was a first and a first ever for a caravan. We paid £100 a night for 2 nights and I wasn't impressed we were unable to use the cooker as no gas, but had hot water. There was no iron and ironing board supplied or even a hairdryer in a bedroom drawer. And for £100 a night and will be more in the summer surely they should supply the obvious for families. Especially when it's a caravan for the family market. The cleaner came on the dot at 11am and refused to allow us to wait for our lift which was 30 minutes away as delayed as helicopter ambulance had landed on main route so diverted. She said 11am is check out time with not even a smile of understanding shown. So we were left to walk with more bags then we had hands to carry to the front entrance. And my message went unacknowledged by the owners from approx 10am explaining delay but previous messages had all been quickly replied to.
