Location, peace and quiet. Had everything we needed. Off road parking.

The property was tiny- falsely advertised at ‘this apartment includes 1 living room, 1 separate bed room’ A horrible smell- do not stay here if you don’t want to smell of damp, mould and wet dog. Incests all over the bathroom and kitchen- the window had been kept wide open before our arrival due to ‘humidity’. The worse part of this was that the landlady didn’t communicate that she had changed the lock on the key safe so I was standing outside for 1 hour with my baby as I couldn’t get hold of the landlady. She then refund to answer any questions and queries of mine and when I realised the apartment was tiny and had no separate living area to the bedroom I had to book somewhere else because it was not suitable for a baby- she refused to give me a refund although I didn’t stay at the property for longer than 5 minutes. I feel robbed. Absolute terrible communication and host.

Everything you needed home from home which isn't always the case in apartments eg kitchen roll, washing up liquid, plenty of loo roll etc Easy to use central heating. Shower small but at water pressure. Fantastic location.

Decor a bit tired. Instructions to find where to park should be clearer, access is off Biskey Howe Road.

Lovely little cosy retreat! Very warm throughout! You can tell an awful lot of effort has gone into converting this place! Finished to a very high standard! Shower is very powerful! Kitchen is great for one person to prepare food! Proper, canny little place!

The only negative is the drive along the back alleyway to get to the entrance! Reversing out was no big deal, during daylight, but if you need to reverse out in the dark, well that's an entirely different matter! Walking down there in the dark is no joke either!! Lighting along the way is very much needed! Oh, nb..bedroom is quite 'blingy', so might not be suited to the older couple!

Really good location as close to all amenities but tucked away from any noise

As we are walkers and subsequently because of the weather had wet clothes and there wasn’t anywhere like coat hooks to hang wet things. Otherwise great place to stay.

Ideal location to Bowness. Lovely helpful host.

Accommodation was a little limited for space.
