The breakfast was delicious and brought to your cabin by the very friendly hosts.

The only negative thing I can say is you could hear some traffic noise and there was a dog near by that barked quite alot which was quite annoying.

The place is beautiful, it's a cabin in the woods. The staff picked us up at the bus station. It feels like staying with a family, Marcelo and his wife go overboard to make guests feel at home. The place is a 25 minute walk from downtown, but it was not an issue for us. It was very private and cozy. Breakfast was amazing, everyday on the porch to the sounds of nature.

The water heating system is temperamental (some new energy-saving mechanism) which meant sometimes we didn't have hot water. It was warm though, so it was okay. A misunderstanding happened due to miscommunication and language barriers, however the owner was flexible and cooperative in reaching a mutually convenient solution.

We loved our stay here, the cabin is so beautiful, the owners were super friendly and very welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and delivered to us at what ever time we chose It’s 5 min walk to a little supermarket and garage and about 20 min walk to the town where there are really lovely places to eat . We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend .

Small language barrier, no signage to locate

We liked just about everything. Marcelo and his wife greeted us and got us all settled in the room. The room was a separate cabin that was spacious and had everything we needed. They also brought us breakfast of eggs and fresh fruite the next morning, which was awesome. Mayco made reservations for us for a tour the next morning and recommended a great restaurant for dinner.

Only thing we didn't love was that the bed was too firm. Otherwise, it was perfect.

The accommodation was clean and new. Very private and quiet. Mayco and his wife were wonderful hosts. The breakfast each morning was amazing.

There are no signs announcing the property so it was a little difficult to find.

Nestled in serene natural setting, this quaint little cabin hosted by Mayco, Dania and Julio is a hidden gem for those seeking a tranquil getaway. Every morning we, we were treated to a delicious and healthy breakfast, thoughtfullly prepared by Dania and Julio. For anyone looking to unwind in a picturesque setting with great hosts, this cabin is an absolute must! Highly recommended!

Not that we didn't like, but we could have used a microwave

Amazing cabin in the jungle. Hosts were superb, always making sure our stay was perfect. Communication before arrival was excellent, suggesting tips and tours to do while in Monteverde. 100% recommended to stay here if you're visiting Monteverde!

Friendly, helpful and lovely host. Great breakfast served straight to the room. Clean, cozy and pretty accommondation. Also the indoor air was fresh, easy to breathe.

Marcelo and Gloria were wonderful hosts! We received a warm welcome despite the rain and the breakfast delicious! The chalet is clean, cosy and conveniently located. We had a great time!
