The hosts truly put their heart into making your stay special! The bed was comfortable, a bit on the firm side. The shower's hot water was a bit tricky, but workable. Everything was clean, and the breakfast was the best of all hotels we stayed at! Laundry service was quick. It was very quiet and private at night. No AC, but the dehumidifier kept things comfortable.

The listing isn't clear, but this is a cash-only property. The wifi was strong, but the internet connection was slow, and dropped out entirely every 10-15 minutes - not the fault of the hosts. It was a struggle to look up restaurants in town. This would be a great place to unplug. Fyi - It was not a pleasant or short walk to town, but we had a car.

The stay was very comfy, and it's clear how much effort the host put into making it that way. Everything you might need is provided, and they also asked us everyday if we still need something. The location is also very convenient and easily reachable from the main road. Breakfast was very delicious and when eaten it on the Terrace you can enjoy watching the Colibri Birds that are flying from a Flower to another. a lovely extra touch was the complimentary fresh mint tea offered every afternoon, which was perfect to enjoy after returning for the day and it warms you. We really enjoyed the hospitality and the place!

This is a beautiful property nestled in nature. The owner was very kind and welcoming, the house was clean and the breakfast was truly excellent.

We absolutely loved our stay at this gorgeous cabin. It’s beautifully furnished, clean, had comfy beds, and set in a lush garden, and is very close to the cloud forest and restaurants in town. The couple who own it are truly the loveliest people. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed, gave great local recommendations, and brought breakfast to our room each morning. We especially loved the fresh mint tea they surprised us with in the afternoon. A peaceful, personal, and memorable stay—we highly recommend it!

What an amazing place to stay - one of our accommodation highlights of our entire trip in Costa Rica. The hosts were so attentive and friendly, even bringing you a lovely tea after a busy day. The room was clean, quiet and good location for Monteverde. Breakfast was also delicious. Definitely recommend!
