Super new & comfortable space. Big, super clean, cozy. Beautiful self contained unit in the outskirts of town. Easy access to other villages. Really good sleep, loved the bed. The space is well distributed. Really enjoyed our stay!

Extremely friendly host! The lodge was super clean and we got a welcome cake in the oven and pancakes with fresh juice the day before leaving. Location is perfect as It's almost in the middle of the island, and a 10 minutes drive from Ponta Delgada. We really enjoyed our stay here!

Some things weren't fuctioning optimal. Like the shower takes a really long time to get warm, the water in the kitchen wasn't getting hot at all, and the window blinds in the bedroom aren't opening and closing smoothly. But no big things, if you know you just open the shower early before using and there is a dishwasher (big plus!) so warm water isn't a must.

We were very warmly greeted upon arrival and got a tour of the garden where we saw all the fruits and vegetables growing. The place looked exactly like the photos and was a home away from home.We especially enjoyed getting into the hot tub after a long day's hike. The hosts were so hospitable bringing us pancakes in the morning and pineapple cake!

The property is located on a fairly busy road so it can be difficult to get in and out!
