All'arrivo ci ha accolto Rita , molto gentile e disponibile. Ci ha fornito tutto quello di cui avevamo bisogno e ci ha consentito anche un latest check out

L'accueil de Rita et de sa fille. Elles sont très agréables et prêtes à tout pour que votre séjour se passe au mieux. Appartement très spacieux, très propre, très bien situé au coeur de se mignon village. Les terrasses avec des vues magnifiques.

Rue étroite pour se garer devant le gîte. Cela dit vous pouvez vous garer quelques mètres un peu plus bas. Nous n'avons pas eut de problème de stationnement en plein mois de juillet.

The terrace view is amazing. Morning noon or night go out and enjoy!

Make sure not to follow googles directions. Go to the main square. The road is dangerously narrow. Walk to the apartment.

The location is up high so the views are amazing. There are 2 terraces so it's always possible to have sun and/or shade whenever. Nearby is a pizza restaurant/takeaway that is great! In the village a short downhill walk are great cafes and bars and a Spar and just up from the property is a square with a fabulous, friendly restaurant with great food and a wine shop. Rita who met us and showed us round the property couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful - she solved every problem we encountered. Unfortunately our Italian and her English was limited which was a shame as she was clearly a lovely woman who we would have liked to chat to!! The property was a good base for Etna Nord and the Alcantara gorge and valley which were both amazing.

Some confusion about collecting the keys not helped by our lack of Italian and Rita's lack of English! Only one bathroom (or more to the point 1 toilet) for 5 people not the most convenient but as a family staying for a couple of days , fine! Lots of outside space partly compensated for the lack of a lounge/sitting room. Lots of personal knick-knacks around the place which are either charming or too much depending on your taste! Not possible to park outside so bags have to be carried up or down hill depending where you can park.

The apartment was spacious and air conditioned. A lot of storage places, even a washing machine. The best part however was the large terrace with magnificent view of the old houses, beautiful ancient church and a castle and the large valley with the Francavilla di Sicilia town. Parking was without problems at an adjacent square.

The kitchen could have been better equipped - we missed e.g. a tray, more bowls.
