Apartamentos Ester

If I were a bat, I would have been comfortable because there is no direct daylight. See the attached Fotos. This is what it looks like in reality!

Beware when booking - deceptive packaging! Would we book the flat on the ground floor again? Absolutely not! The flat on the ground floor is suitable for people who are afraid of daylight! The pictures may give the impression that the flats are all bright and friendly. The opposite was the case for us. The flat on the ground floor is angled and has no direct windows to the outside. There is one window into a dark shaft and one into a stairwell in the building. This means that without room lighting, nothing works here even during the day. Clever lighting in the photos means that you don't get the idea when booking that there is actually no daylight. The facilities (booking.com) listed for our flat in particular include a terrace and a view of the quiet street. Both are not true!!! The toilet cistern also took about 15 minutes to fill up again. Sometimes a bit annoying with two people ;-) The control of the electric cooker is puzzling. Extremely expensive at more than 80 euros a day at the beginning of February. It is clean, but basically a dark shed. Completely unacceptable for the price!

Location was perfect and apartment included everything needed.

The apartment has everything you need, except air conditioning. Very good location, close to Teresitas beach, bars and shops

From what I noticed, there is very little air conditioning in Tenerife. They are trying to replace it with fans, but at such temperatures, without any insulation, it is unfortunately quite hot inside. There are 2 fans, but even in October it is difficult to sleep in a hot bedroom

Fantastic hotel. Everything here was perfect for us - I would definitely recommend.  In addition - right next to the apartment is a restaurant - El Rinconcito de Anaga - I recommend equally highly. The town is small, but with atmosphere, one of the nicest in the Canary Islands. And there are two huge parking about 5 min walk from the apartment.

Contact with the owner was fantastic, perfect location as we had done our research, public transport was very regular, if your going for the week pay the 50 euro as this will save you alot. Lovely views from balcony and very clean. No noise from the street. Apartment was fully equipped for any cooking needs. There is an Italian restaurant in the village, we would definitely recommend. Two local supermarkets very well priced and just a small walk from the apartment. If your going to Mt Teide book cable car for the start of your hol as weather may get it cancelled 😭

There was nothing I disliked however if I had to say something I would say the Shower does not have alot of room to move around.

The toilet takes ages to fill up. There is no toilet cleaning liquid.
