Really close to the Verona train station and a ten minute walk to the Verona Arena. Was surprisingly big and had everything we needed. Two double beds and two bath rooms. The sofa could pull out to make another bed which was great for watching movies. Really good air con! Key collection was easy.

The spa bath was lovely but the jets didn’t work. Slightly dark in places where the lights weren’t that bright. The kitchen wasn’t the cleanest but that didn’t bother us.

Shower room extremely dirty, mildew and mould round edges. The lovely terrace filthy, nice pots with dying plants nothing clean My sister went out and bought a scrubbing brush and bleach spending two hours cleaning the shower No toaster in kitchen no teaspoons. The sitting room had no coffee table or side tables to put glasses or coffee cups on. No side tables in bedrooms. No iron, no information Such a pity, this could be an amazing place with just a little attention to detail The outside of the property had lots of litter - I picked it up!

Location

The kitchen equipment is MINIMAL. Why are there NO teaspoons, why is there no electric kettle as stated on the flat description, no coffee machine [except an nEspresso machine which requires capsules] How did the cleaner fail to observe that the wardrobe door upstairs is collapsing? How did he/she fail to observe that the patio table and washing machine need a clean, too. Where are the advertised ironing facilities, or are they hidden in the many handle-less cupboards? The drying rack? DVDs? Despite earlier guest comments that the input of that air-con needs attention, and that the toilet seat downstairs needs affixing, no action has been taken. The ‘city view’ is of roof-tops and none very pretty, so that specification is rather misleading. The air-con unit is barely adequate for the lower floor, let alone the upper floor, which does seem to have a unit but which does not work. Where is the ‘free’ public parking? There certainly is parking nearby, though not much and certainly NOT free [except Sundays] If there is free parking, did the host not think it desirable to let us know? We did indeed receive instructions on checking OUT before arrival but NONE for arrival. I was obliged to make a phone call and only SUBSEQUENTLY did I receive written instructions. We are a well-travelled couple across the world and this property fell far below expectations.

Bathrooms weren’t so clean

The location was great, handy to the main piazza in Verona.

The aircon unit downstairs needed maintenance. We repaired it with some tape. The place was lacking cleaning products and needed a good clean, especially in the kitchen which smelt. One toilet seat needed repairing and cleaning cloths and tea towels were lacking. The photos and descriptions on the website were slightly misleading.

Getting the code for the locked box wasnt easy we had a number of messages to the host. There was no breakfast we had alot of difficulty with the internet logging on and finally got that fixed on our second last day.

Internet access, easier to get into the property. But the views were lovely and its close to the CBD.

The apartment is ok but the service owner is bad, we stay there for 2 nights and the first night the electricity was shutdown in our room and we tried to message and call the owner and he did not come for support but he ask us to go down to push the breaker up,when we go down there are 5 boxs of the breaker and he not told us clearly which one is for his room. Then we cannot do anything we stay without electricity. In the morning the owner was came and then reproach us he also told that we make him crazy because we are keep calling him. We never met the service like this before and we paid the money appx 110 eur per night not stay for free then really not happy.
