This property is right in the heart of Ortigia and walking distance to all the attractions such as the fortress, Ortigia fish market, beach promenade and harbor. The owner is very responsive and helpful and met me at the property at check-in. The space has everything you need including a full kitchen. Check-in must be before 8 pm which is completely acceptable. Take the bus (not the train) directly from the Catania airport for the easiest and fastest arrival. I highly recommend staying in the Centro Historico for an authentic and magical experience.

The atmosphere and location are great. The owners, Delia and Carlo, are like Greek gods, you don’t see them but they are always there „looking after your fate“😊. They give great advice and are extraordinarily helpful.

Nothing important

The location of the apartment is optimal to go to center of Ortigia walking, also there is public parking available near the property. Delia and her husband make themselves available to answer questions or in case anything happens in the property.

The air conditioner of the room is very loud, so it was difficult to rest in the place since when the AC is off, the place turns very hot very fast (which is normal for Sicily in summer).

Delia made sure we had everything we needed, and made recommendations for places to visit, and to eat. She was very attentive but left us to our own devices. The apartment was just lovely, it was perfect. The area was charming, we were around the corner from the fort, temple, Achimedes museum, and some very good restaurants. I'd happily stay again.
