Excellent location, kind host and a direct view on The Rock from the balcony - WOW!

More thorough cleaning (last guest's dinner traces on the kitchen utensils, old bird poop on the balcony), simple bathroom updates (replacing the worn put toilet seat and mouldy shower curtain) as well as some back up toilet paper would easily make this stay a 10/10.

Excellent location - walking distance to Gibraltar border - safe at night, about .5 miles. Beautiful terrace view of Gibraltar. We stayed here to be able to make a quick trip to Gibraltar and to catch a ferry into Tangier. We actually rented here 3 nights but stayed 1 night in Morocco so we could leave all our suitcases and travel light 1 day/night in Tangier. The idea worked out well. Quiet and lovely area.

No air conditioning but there were 2 fans we utilized and were fine.

Spacious apartment with good equipment. Responsive and friendly host who gave detailed instructions for everything. There is free parking in the streets around, however, they can be busy in times. Location is ok - not too far from the harbour/beach/Gibraltar, but you probably need a car.

We couldn't find a clothesline even though there is a washing machine. There was a cockroach in the kitchen when we arrived (which is not so uncommon in the south, though). The house is across a school and it was quite noisy in the evenings due to events which took place at the school.

Very good apartment to stay with two kids, three bedrooms, clean, walking distance to Gibraltar boarder in 15 minutes. Parking free in surroundimg streets but difficult to find a free parking in the evening. I definitely would stay here again. Good communication with owner.

Only some minor details: No dishwashing soap in appartment, we realized after shops were closed. The double bed is a standard double bed size in Spain, that is much smaller than a mid European double bed with 180 x 200 cm. The matress protection felt like plastic and should be replaced or removed. So it was not very comfortable but okay. The flat has fixed sun protection installed, so it's relatively dark. On our last day other guests had the appartment above us and you could hear every noise from above. Luckily they went out i the evening, otherwise I would have complained
