Ingolfsstræti Apartments by Heimaleiga

The apartment was very central. It was very clean and had everything we needed. We travelled with one couple and one single traveller. The apartment management was very responsive to any text or email we sent.

The apartment did not have parking so you needed to walk to parking. Overnight was free in some spaces and the apartment company outlined the areas in the hand book, however parking was still a challenge.

The location is great, near downtown sights.

Great location

Generally grimy and in need of a good lick of paint. There was dust everywhere on bedside tables corners of rooms etc. The radiators if you put clothes on them left dust marks/ white marks on clothes. The bathroom was very dirty in the corners hair and grime. Needed a good deep clean. No extractor fan for cooking so place got steamy and there were melt marks on the cabinet above from the steam.

Läget är jättebra! Mysigt boende som är välstädat & fräscht.

Ligger ovanpå en bar & nära utelivet. Så det var högljutt. Men det får man räkna med om man vill bo centralt.

Die Lage ist wirklich super und das Appartement hat eine angenehme Größe.

Es ist leider wirklich sehr laut. Unter dem Appartement befindet sich ein Restaurant und die Küche, bis spät abends hört man die Mitarbeiter sehr sehr laut. Auch die Geräte aus der Küche kann man hören

Bókaði herbergi með bílastæði, en það var ekkert bílastæði og okkur bent á að fara í bílastæðahús á vegum Rvk borgar. Fann útihurðina og þar fyrir innan var skítugur gangur, myrkur og vond lykt. Fórum upp stigann alla leið upp og fundum ekki hurð með númerinu sem gefið var upp. Bar á neðstu hæðinni með hávaða sem því fylgir. Gáfumst upp og bókuðum okkur annað gistirými.

La entrada al edificio bastante regular esta encima de un bar y es entrar practicamente por un basurero además de oler fatal solo lo entrada como digo el apartamento está muy bien.

The room was spotless, and the kitchen was well equipped—perfect for cooking our own meals. The location is close to the city center, with a bus stop and a supermarket just a short walk away, which made everything very convenient. The restaurant downstairs was also excellent—highly recommended.

We knew this ahead of time, but there’s no elevator—only stairs—so carrying heavy luggage up and down can be challenging. Apart from that, we had no issues whatsoever.
