"Exceptional"

cozy clean private house, equipped fully whatever a guest could need I should say extremely private, only you and tundra, a neighbour a mile away convenient driving approach, parking is right behind the door

"Great remote location with dark skies"

Great remote location. Good range of kitchen wear. Large veranda area great to sit and watch northern lights

Make sure you read location details carefully. If you can avoid arriving in the dark. Instuctions on using the cabin are very detailed and its important to read all of it and not skip through them like I did

"Good for a short stay"

The cabin is not that remote but far away from other people so it really feels like a wilderness experience. We were able to clearly see aurora as well. Host was easy to reach and helpful.

It's a bit strange that you need to throw out the sheets after you used them and also clean the cabin behind. The cabin also doesn't feel that warm.

A lovely cabin in the middle of nowhere. Quiet, peaceful nights. Place is nearby Mt. Hekla & Landmannalaugar.
