ÁLka - Cozy Room by the Sea With Private Hot Tub

I loved the location and proximity to the walking path to shore. The owners were lovely people and very accommodating! We spent only a few nights there, but we would certainly rebook

I think the bathroom needs a little more privacy, but we made it work. Overall, we loved the location!!

It was super clean and modern, the owner was really lovely and attentive!! Good location as near the airport and 50 minute drive from the capital

The photos are really deceiving and the bad reviews are all pushed to the bottom which we didn’t realise until it was too late! It’s a tiny room that has the toilet and shower visible from the bed, no privacy at all. There are lights outside all the windows so when the blinds are down there’s no way of knowing whether it’s sunrise or not because it’s constantly shining through! (Waking up at 1am and thinking it’s daylight is not ideal) It could really do with a mini fridge. The hot tub was in view of the owners property which made us feel uncomfortable as they’d have been able to see us in it. You aren’t able to open the windows in the room either, definitely very much over priced for what it is!

It was really Great Weekend! Room is cute and cozy! Place is so amazing, because it’s close enough to ocean! I loved it. And I found it very enjoyable to be in jacuzzi but outside!. We had a lot of fun!

Advertised a hot tub, reason we booked then was told only could use 6pm till 11pm. Asked for 9pm and arrived and tub was empty so could not use. Room was nothing like the pictures, toilet and shower are in the room no privacy at all

The room was beautiful, had everything you could need in it and perfect for a female solo traveller. The views were incredible and the location was good, it felt very safe and the hosts were extremely accommodating throughout my stay. I had an amazing time in Iceland, if I go back in the future I would definitely return to this property!

The bed was very comfortable after full days of sight seeing.

Few restaurants close by, but that is nothing the host has control over.

Maybe considering installing a mini fridge or even a television? Also, maybe an alternative hot tub so you can have bubbles?
