It was good value for money, a place to sleep

The outside light came through the front door window making it difficult to sleep - I was the person on the fold out bed in the lounge. The outside light couldn’t manually be turned off

Free onsite parking. Decent location within 20 minute walk to beach and main street.

We booked this property based on the pictures of the bright apartment with the nice balcony and seaview. There was no indication that this was in a building with many suites and the staff “randomly" assigns you to any room. We were placed in a ground level suite, facing a back alley. The suite was much darker than any shown in the pictures. When we said this was not the suite we had booked, we were told there were no available suites on the upper floor with a seaview. They offered to move us to a larger suite the next day, but it was also on the ground floor and we would have to pay an additional 75 Euro (that's $117 CND) cleaning fee for the suite we stayed in for 1 night. We declined and stayed our 4 night in the dark suite. There was a patio that was far from private as many other apartments looked down onto it and it was right next to the street. Other issues with suite 5 included: the heavy sliding door to the outdoors did not slide well and was virtually impossible to slide open and closed; the shower was a traditional European shower with a curtain that did not reach the floor and a drain with no edges to keep the water in, resulting in half the bathroom getting wet in the process of showering (we carefully choose not to stay in such suites anymore and no extra towels were provided to dry up the floor); the air conditioning was far from effective; there was no counter space to prepare meals; the only cleaning product provided was very watered down dish soap (is that what they really want their dishes washed with?); absolutely no extras were provided such as salt, pepper, sugar, coffee pods; there was a 2 page contract to sign at start of stay with threats to keep parts of your 100 Euro damage deposit if you didn't abide; and there was a gate that locked from the patio onto the alley that we were never given a key to (we had to climb over it the first day and were never able to lock it after that as a key was never provided as promised).

The place was too old, the coffee machine is not working.

The location is great, size of property, close to the beach and all amenities. Host of the property was extremely friendly, responded immediately to any questions and was always available.

Property interior needs to be updated, couch was extremely uncomfortable and needed to be adjusted constantly. We had to ask for knives and spoons, so some necessities were not there on arrival.

Great place to stay. Fantastic Staff that helped with everything during our stay. I highly recommend it. Underground parking is a big plus as well.
