Taormina al Bacio apartment

Property was very traditional and right in the centre of the pedestrianised zone

Narrow steps to the lounge, kitchen and terrace could be difficult for some

Great location, lovely terrace, comfortable accommodations, friendly and helpful staff, parking access was as easy as it gets - staff meet you and take your car for you and take your luggage to the apartment.

Hallway lights went out the first day but not a big deal as all other lights worked and our phone flashlights worked fine to illuminate the stairs in the hall.

Overall access is difficult. The town is a nightmare for driving. Car parking was expensive and remote. There is a walk from the car drop-off spot to the apartment. Lots and lots of stairs so minimal luggage. They assisted us to get in but not when we left. In the apartment there are steep and narrow stair cases. Shower over bath in very tight bathroom.

The terraces are amazing. The apartment standard is like the pictures suggest. Perfect for a comfortable stay with modest facilities

Amazing location. Good hosts. The beds could be a bit more comfortable in all honesty. Everything else is great.

The terrace. It’s what makes the apartment great really. It’s also a very central location. It takes about 30-40 minutes walk to go to the sea. I appreciated receiving recommendations beforehand on WhatsApp.

The excess of perfume/freshener that was sprayed on the bedding. We had to remove the bed cover and leave the windows fully opened to be able to actually sleep in the room, luckily the weather was nice. The check in was also a bit rushed.
