Mind blowing! Staying is this cave was a highlight of our trip. It is beautifully renovated but still authentic. It still has the metal rings where the animals would have been kept. It is HUGE, the bed is super comfortable, the location is 10/10. We walked to restaurants and to see Matera at night is a special treat.

There is a slight musty smell when you first arrive, I guess that goes along with the territory, it is a cave after all. The actual space is very clean.
