"A piece of luxury"

We loved Ortigia MaaM. It was a very well-presented apartment. The location was really good too. It was on a quiet street just off the main central street. The owner greeted us when we arrived and she sent us recommendations for restaurants. Marinella clearly takes care of every detail. Highly recommended!

De lokatie!

De afvoer van vocht is niet optimaal. Ook als we de ventilator lang lieten draaien, bleven de handdoeken toch vochtig.

"Wonderful time in Ortigia"

Marinella is a very nice host. We agreed on the arrival time in advance and she welcomed us very kindly. The apartments are actually much nicer than they look in the pictures. Everything is very well-balanced, comfortable and clean. There is a wonderful little patio. Good bed linen and towels. Also a great location - right next to the main street, but very quiet.

"Lovely ground floor apartment in Ortigia (Siracusa)."

Located in one of Ortigia's quiet laneways, this is a very comfortable, lovingly furnished, ground floor apartment. It also boasts a private patio that begs to be used as a breakfast room. The host was charming and responded promptly to our questions. Because the apartment is located on the north side of Ortigia, it was only a 20 minute walk from the railway station and a 30 minutes' walk to the Neapolis.

No problems at all.

"Such a pretty apartment with period features"

Had a wonderful stay at Marinella's ground floor apartment in Ortigia. The apartment was very large and very well-decorated with many period features. It felt great not to have to stay in yet another typical Ikea-decorated, made for Airbnb-type space. It was well appointed and had all the amenities you could want, including the all-important washing machine. The location was great - just off the main shopping street in Ortigia - and was peaceful and quiet. Marinella was a wonderful host. She was not in town during our check in but made the effort to meet with us the next day to welcome us to Ortigia. She lives upstairs so was always available in case we needed anything. Queries were promptly answered and she was very helpful with recommendations. We really enjoyed our visit to Ortigia and would happily return, hopefully for a longer stay in Marinella's apartment!

The wooden bed frame was a little creaky.
