Location, with a view of the main square and nearby many restaurants. AC worked well. Nice high ceilings.

The shower drain was clogged which made the shower accumulate a lot of water in the bottom which took a few minutes to clear up (though I should point the host offered to come fix it the next day). Also, there was a foul smell coming from the drain which intensified every time you showered, which made for a not so pleasant shower experience. The toilet seat was also broken, and the toilet was really close to the wall which made it difficult to use. The floor of the house was not very clean, looked like it had not even been vacuumed. Wi-fi was not great.

The staircase it’s located on can attract smokers, so on the first night the house smelt like smoke throughout the night. It cleared up by the second night but beware if you have asthma

Great location, roomy place with all equipment. Host very welcoming. Great to have washing machine. Balcony over town place great to sit and watch .

The location was good in so far as it was easy to get to Amalfi town which was only a 10 minute walk away where you can catch ferries to other locations. Atrani is fairly small with very little in the way of shops but has a few good restaurants. There was a festival on when were there which was good. Live music and fireworks. We ate at a good pizza restaurant a few times.

This property was very disappointing. We arrived at the property about 3pm on our day of arrival to be told by the owner Laura that the air conditioning was broken. She said that the previous people that stayed before us were very bad people and they had broken the aircon. We asked Laura if she was going to get it fixed and her response was "you can cancel for free". This was peak season in the middle of July and 35 degrees most days. We could hardly try and find an alternative accommodation at that stage and besides I had already paid in full for the property. She said she would try and get someone to fix the aircon. Each day we asked if it was getting fixed and her response was "you can cancel for free". After 3 nights we decided we could not stay there any longer as we could not sleep as the room was so hot and the bed sheets were like sandpaper they were so hard and scratchy. We found an alternate property in a different location. We contacted booking.com to advise them that we needed to move properties and we would be checking out of Casa Letiza after 4 nights, (we had originally booked to stay there for 7 nights). They said that was all ok and they we would get a refund for the 3 nights we were not going to be staying there and that they would just have to email the host and get a confirmation from them that this was the case. We notified Laura and she said that was all ok and we would just need to pay for the 4 nights. The cost of the property for the 7 nights was 1,500 Euros. Booking.com sent Laura an email asking her to confirm that we had left the property. She did not reply to their email and it took many phone calls and booking.com reaching out to her to get her to respond. In the end she only agreed to a refund of 351 Euros which was well short of the cost for the 3 nights. I had to contact booking.com on multiple occasions to try and get them to contact Laura to authorise the correct refund. She refused.
